Story

Ocean turtles begin a long journey they move with the currents, guided by the moon and the pull of home. There flippers remember paths older than memory. Elders tell us Ocean Turtle is a teacher and “Respect the Ocean” they say. “Take only what you need”. “Always find your way back”. When the time is right. Ocean Turtles returns to the shore, slowly and carefully. Even the tracks in the sand tell a story.

The colours used are a reflection on how the story feels and the contrast she wants to display. She may print a sea scape and next may be a landscape.

As an Indigenous artists Jenny wants to share stories and allow people to see a different type of art.  She  tells stories is a traditional way, for instance she may use symbols, colours and different techniques.
