Story
Indigenous women in power have always led – through Country, kinship, culture and care. They are knowledge holders, protectors of the land, and water, healers, artists, activists and educators. Their leadership is grounded in connection rather than control. Guided by listening, reciprocity and responsibilities to future generations. From ancestors to today’s Elders and emerging leaders, Indigenous women continue to rise with strength, wisdom and reliance shaping communities and creating pathways forward while carrying culture strong.
